The Bermuda Triangle *spooky tone*

The Bermuda Triangle. Mysterious? Scientific? Maybe both? The Bermuda Triangle (BT for short) has been an area of interest for centuries. The BT spans from the coast of Maimi, Bermuda and San Juan in Puerto Rico covering roughly 500, 000 square miles, thats a lot of sea! Christopher Columbus, the first person to travel around the world by sea was the first to document something strange in this triangle. He reported that he and his crew observed 'strange dancing lights on the horizon' and at another point he wrote in his log about bizarre compass bearings at the area in 1492. That was a long long long time ago, we need some real facts!

The disappearance of the famous flight 19 in 1945 grabbed the curiosity of many. And so, till that day the mystery of the BT began. The story that started it all, on December 5th, 1945, flight 19, disappeared off the coast of Florida. It was a routine training mission where 5 torpedo bombers carrying 14 men were assigned to follow a triangular route. Approximately after 2 hours after flight 19 have left, a radio message had been intercepted between the lead pilot of flight 19 and another pilot of the flight reporting that the compasses were malfunctioning. The lead pilot was uncertain where the Florida coast was began to work out a plan to ditch the plane at sea because of the lack of fuel. That was the last reported radio contact of flight 19. At 7:30 pm that day, a patrol plane was launched in search of the missing plane and it too along with the crew disappeared.

In March 1918, the US Navy lost the USS Cyclops and all 306 crew members. In February 1965, SS Marine Sulphur Queen carrying molten Sulphur sank. Neither the USS Cyclops or the SS Marine Sulphur Queen were recovered. These events were one of many, there have been several losses documented in the region of BT.

So what is causing this events to happen in the BT? Nobody knows how it happens but there have been many theories. One of it is the electronic fog. Many people have reported seeing portals opening up in the cloudy skies and electromagnetical distortions called 'electronic fog' that can cause the disappearance of planes and ships. Well, I have certainly never heard of any crap called electronic fog before, but it might happen as portals exist.

UFO? The BT is an area with one of the highest incidences of UFO sightings. No wander that alien abductions have been popular around the region of the BT. Some believe that aliens use the BT as a collection stations. Magnetic anomalies? Compass problems is one of the causes mentioned in the BT incidents. People have thought that a a possibility of a strange local magnetic anomalies in the area. Atlantis? Some people believe that the BT is the home to the city of Atlantis. Legend has it that the city of Atlantis utilizes the power of unusual energy crystals that are very powerful and these crystals are in distorted state of some kind and send out rays of energy that affects the navigational instruments of boats and planes.

What about black holes? Some people believe that there is a black hole located in the BT. It sucks up the ships or planes before they knew what hit them. Others believe that the black hole is at the bottom of the ocean. It is theorized that the black hole is connected to another black hole on the other side of the planet ocean floor. Last but not least, the all time favourite of mine, SEA MONSTERS! XD!! Many people like me attribute the disappearance of boats and planes that occur in the BT to enormous sea monsters. This sea monsters is not like the monsters you will see in cartoons but maybe the mystical 'Lockness Monster' or other undiscovered sea creatures that could possibly live in that area.

Okay, now I will blog on another classmate of mine who blogged about me earlier this week, her name is Alya Adflin. You can see what she wrote about me at alya-afdlynn.blogspot.com at the post titled 'Jash'

Alya has been my classmate since primary school. We went to the same secondary school but were different classes during our form 1 and 2 years. She has been the nice and quiet type of girl who is always kind and humble to me. She is also very pretty and knows how to dress up. She is the fun type of girl who has good friends. She sometimes can be sensitive too, xD. Well, I have to say I am happy that she is my classmate. Hope you will remember me after my SPM Alya =)
