Swear Word Origins! $#!%

Today, I'm going to tell you the origins of the most beloved words in the English Language, xD. The Mother#()@!&$)@&$)@(&$ Donkey Hairy))@#*@*$@{*$@ Swear words =)

I will start with 'Shit'. Before I go any further, I apologize that if I might offend any people here. We get the word 'Shit' from the old English work, 'Skyte' which means 'Dung' and 'Skit' which means 'diarrhea' Now that is pretty straight forward. You got old words which means 'Poop' which evolved into a new word that still means 'Poop' LMAO!

Now, the word 'Asshole' also has a pretty straight forward origin too. The word 'Ass' comes from the British word 'Ars' which in Britain is still the preferred way to say it. Starting not long after the year 1080, the word 'Ars' came into the usage referring to the butt meat of an animal. 300 years later, people started to use the word 'Ars' to refer to the human butt, and another 200 years later, they added the word 'Hole' to the end to refer to ones anus. Add a little of magic and somehow over the past 500 years, the word 'Arshole' has become the word 'Asshole'

The word 'Bitch' has such innocent couple of roots. It originally came from another English word 'Beech' which referred to a dog who just had puppies. Awwww... Now its used as a term for insult against women. The usage of this word began at around the year 1400 and since then it has gone through many other evolutions until it has many other examples. She is a *****, He is a *****, Son of a ***** and so on...

The most common story of the origin of the 'F' word goes as follows. In the middle ages, in order to prevent the spread of disease, specifically the Black Death (a vry fatal disease), couples who wanted to have sexual intercourse had to have royal permission. Once such permission is granted, participating couples will be given a sign to hang on their door when participating in sexual intercourse that read 'F-U-C-K that stands for 'Fornication Under the Consent of the King'. The word 'Fuck' lived happily ever after. Unfortunately, this story is just a legend and haven't been proven true yet. The other origin of the 'F' word is far less interesting. Most likely the word have its roots in old Germanic language. In Swedish, 'Fuuuk' means penis. In Dutch, 'Fuken' means 'to hit' and finally in German, 'Ficken' means to have sex...
